The UCO Bands have achieved national and international acclaim through many performances over the years. The most recent of these have been the WS’s new CD release, “A Legacy Rediscovered,” and their performance on the prestigious stage at Carnegie Hall; the Jazz Band’s first place win at the University of North Texas Collegiate Jazz Festival; the Stampede of Sound’s exhibition performances at recent OBA competitions and their nationally televised performance on PBS and the Central Independent Winter Guard promotion to WGI Independent Open Class.The University of Central Oklahoma Band Program is currently comprised of 16 ensembles...
